doug is a freelance photographer based in ayrshire, Scotland. 

​

with a documentary approach, doug has a special interest in the natural world and human interactions with the landscape. He has a bachelors degree in geography and a masters degree in biodiversity & conservation. following completion of his msc he subsequently worked in wildlife conservation for the UKs leading wildlife charities WHERE he worked as an advisor. he has since left working in these roles to pursue his photographic career and use imagery to create narrative projects.

he is open for commissions and editorial work and working with other socially and environmentally conscious individuals and organisations.

  • 2017 - Winner of RSPB Dear Green Futures Glasgow Urban Wildlife Photography competition. Image displayed in the Kelvingrove Museum & Art Gallery, Glasgow.
